After a stellar 2011 that saw her finish as runner-up in the final of ITV’s Show Me the Funny & embark upon her first nationwide tour, Tiffany Stevenson is back at the Edinburgh Fringe with her new show, ‘Uncomfortably Numb’.

In ‘Uncomfortably Numb’ Tiffany discovers that the battle against ageing is more than skin deep. She goes beneath the grimy epidermis to uncover class hatred, racism and sexism. Maybe it's time to start giving a shit...with jokes.

Tiffany kicked off her comedy career in 2006. As an actress she had already worked alongside established artists such as Ricky Gervais in The Office, Jon Bird in Chambers and Stephen Fry in Absolute Power. Tiffany burst on to the Edinburgh Fringe scene with a lead role in the Eric Bogosian play, Talk Radio, directed by Stewart Lee. The following year Tiffany teamed up with her Talk Radio co-star Phil Nichol & brought their sell-out London show Old Rope to the Fringe – it continued to have successful runs for the next few years and still plays to capacity crowds every Monday night in London. Her previous solo shows in Edinburgh, Cavewoman, Dictators and Along Came A Spider, have been performed to packed audiences and have received rave reviews. In 2010 Tiffany starred in Celebrity Autobiography at the Fringe, and then in the West End alongside David Tennant, Michael Urie, Sally Phillips & Doon Mackichan.

TV wise she has appeared on Never Mind The Buzzcocks (BBC Two), Celebrity Deal Or No Deal (Channel 4), Live With Gabby (Five), Big Brother’s Bit On The Side (Five) and Show Me The Funny, performing in the live final at London’s Hammersmith Apollo to millions of viewers. Upcoming appearances for later in 2012 include Comedy Central’s The Comedy Store among others. As an actress she has appeared in series such as The Office, Chambers, Absolute Power and Balls of Steel.

Tiffany is being tipped by many to be the breakthrough female stand-up star of 2012.
